Restaurant Relax - Warsaw Uprising 1944
The sirens once called
A city rose to the fight
Shadows turned to flame

🇵🇱 Today We Remember

On August 1st, 1944, under brutal German occupation, the people of Warsaw rose in courage and unity against overwhelming odds.
For 63 days, they fought not only for freedom, but for dignity, identity, and the hope of a better tomorrow.

At Restaurant Relax, we honor their sacrifice and keep alive the memory of a spirit that refuses to be broken.
May their bravery continue to inspire us — to treasure freedom, to cherish the ties that unite us, and to never forget where we come from.

The story of the Warsaw Uprising still echoes today — even in music.
In 2010 the Swedish band Sabaton paid tribute in their powerful song “Uprising”, reminding the world of the bravery of Warsaw’s citizens who stood together against German occupation.

Glory to the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising.
