This Sunday, October 4th, Fifth Avenue will once again turn red and white as New York’s Polish community comes together for the 89th Annual Pulaski Day Parade.
For generations, this celebration has brought Polish Americans together to honor their heritage, culture and the legacy of General Casimir Pulaski, a hero who fought for freedom in both Poland and the United States.
This year’s theme, “For Our Freedom and Yours!”, also honors General Tadeusz Kościuszko and celebrates 250 years of American independence.
Expect Polish flags, folk costumes, music, dancing and thousands of people proudly celebrating their roots along Fifth Avenue.
From our little corner of Greenpoint, we are proud to be part of a community that has kept its traditions alive in New York for generations.
From Greenpoint, with Love.
Restaurant Relax sends warm wishes to everyone celebrating Pulaski Day.
