After early voting, we went for a walk around the neighborhood and found this beautiful mural painted by the talented Polish artist @paulapaints. This powerful artwork reflects our emotions as Polish immigrants living in this great country. At the top, the words “God Bless America” express a deep gratitude for the opportunities and freedoms we’ve found here. The tree, with its branches and roots resembling both the American and Polish flags, symbolizes the merging of our roots and the new life we’ve built in the United States, while still holding onto our Polish heritage. The line at the bottom, “Poland forever in the heart,” serves as a reminder of where we come from and the pride we carry in our Polish identity. This mural, located in Maspeth, New York, beautifully captures the essence of being a Polish-American.
